How Admission Works

How BAMS Admission & AYUSH Counselling Works

After qualifying NEET UG, candidates register for AYUSH UG Counselling — the common admission gateway for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BSMS. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC, aaccc.gov.in) handles 15% All India Quota seats, while each state's own AYUSH counselling authority handles the remaining 85% state quota and private college seats. BAMS is a 5.5-year program: 4.5 years academic plus a 1-year compulsory internship.
