Management Quota Admission Process — Step by Step
Qualify NEET
Score 50th percentile in NEET (no specific rank needed for MQ). Just qualifying is enough to be eligible.
Choose College
Shortlist preferred deemed colleges based on city, fees, and brand. MGM, DY Patil, Symbiosis all have MQ seats.
Contact University/Consultant
Contact the college management or authorised admission consultants. Do NOT pay to agents without verification.
Document Verification
Submit NEET scorecard, class 10/12 marksheets, ID proof, and other documents for eligibility check.
Pay First Year Fees
Confirm seat by paying first year MQ fees directly to the university account. No cash payments to middlemen.
Get Admission Letter
University issues official admission letter and allotment. Report to college and begin MBBS program.
Management Quota Dos & Don'ts — Protect Yourself
DO — Safe Practices
- Pay fees ONLY directly to the college/university bank account
- Demand and keep original fee receipts from the university
- Verify the consultant's credentials and registration
- Check the college is NMC approved before applying
- Get the seat allotment letter in writing from the college
- Report to the college personally to verify your seat
- Cross-check MQ fee on the official college website
DON'T — Red Flags
- Never pay cash or unofficial "donation" to any agent
- Never pay without receiving an official receipt
- Never pay to anyone claiming to be from the college without verification
- Capitation fees are ILLEGAL under NMC norms — refuse to pay
- Don't believe "guaranteed seat" promises without official confirmation
- Don't skip document verification steps thinking it'll be done later
